The 4th celebration started on the third with kids night at Apple Valley Freedom Days. So much fun at the petting zoo, rescue vehicles, first giant snow cone, pony ride, and kiddy airplane ride.
It was so fun to celebrate at home this year as we're usually at the cabin or in Eau Claire. Then yesterday our festivities started with the Eagan parade. We spent the evening in our good friends' the Thoofts' neighborhood.
The night concluded with Miles and Daddy going home (too late, cold, and loud for M) and Nolan and I venturing out for his first city fireworks show. Besides covering his ears the whole time, he loved it! He also went to bed the latest he ever has, and amazingly, wasn't crabby at all!
Oh so many memories.
